About Howard Tree Service
Howard tree Service was established in 1996 by James Howard’s father as a land clearing and tree removal business. In 1996, there was more land clearing for building and the milling of wood. As years passed and James learned the business, he eventually took over in 2014. James grew up in Killingworth and graduated from Haddam -Killingworth High School. His love of the outdoors, trees and the environment taking over the business was a natural transition for James. With years of experience in the lower River Valley area, you will find no one more knowledgeable about tree removal and the care of your trees and property than Howard Tree Service.

Committed to the Community
Growing up in a community where you live, eat, sleep and work gives you a commitment to taking care of it. We are committed not only to the safety and tree care of our neighbors and friends, but also to our Tri-town communities. We work annual with the Deep River Merchants, hanging over 100 holiday wreathes bringing festivities and unity to our community along with holiday spirt. With 2020 been a year of uncertainty for all, we wanted to support some of our Local seniors, as well as a local restaurant. Just before Christmas we arranged and delivered dinner to all 64 residents of our senior housing community, Kirtland Commons. We are essential to the care and safety, of not only our trees, but our community.
